Ananda Yoga for Embracing Heart Strength & Expansion — Workshop

Backbends strengthen the heart by charging the kidneys, aiding in breathing with a wider diaphragm, and creating space between the spinal vertebrae. On an energetic level, backbends transition you from the past into the present—the only place where true happiness resides. Backbends also facilitate the opening of three major centers in the body—the pelvis, the heart, and the throat. This workshop will guide you in bringing the energy of the lower three chakras into the heart center and bring joy into your life.

Restorative Yoga with Lorie | In Person Only | First Fridays

Restorative yoga aids complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation by entirely supporting the body with props so there is no strain or active stretch, allowing the poses to be held for long period of time. Yoga Nidra is a guided practice that leads into a deep state of relaxation between sleep and wakefulness.
Lorie is a Yoga Therapist, Adaptive Yoga teacher, and certified Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra instructor with hundreds of hours of specialty training. Her in-person classes are a mini-retreat that gives you an opportunity to be supported and nourished in the serene and uplifting sanctuary of the Blue Lotus Temple.
